Recall Workshop Nov 2011. Jack Russell
I just wanted to thank you again for the recall workshop last Saturday. I took him out for a walk yesterday and as usual he wandered into the middle of the woods. I used to have to wait for about 10mins before he would come back. I called him once/squeaked his ducky toy and he came back instantly - what a good boy!

Hi Anna and Glenn

Thought you might appreciate a little feedback and good news.

Benny the big brindle boy who has been coming along to your naughty dog walks recently got adopted today.

He's what we could really call the first "tough cookie" who has found a home as a direct result of working with you guys so thank you. Without you both he'd still be sitting in cold kennels and we would be flummoxed as to how to improve his social skills.

GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG  I've been to several trainers before I found you. You're somewhere in the middle - not too hard on the dogs and not too soft, perfect! Thanks for all your help and advice.

Saint Bernhard

Hi Anna and Glen(n),
Just wanted to tell you that I have just got back from my morning walk with her, and she was really good on the lead.  I have taken off her chain collar and replaced it with the 24" leather one you gave me yesterday, and have changed the lead for the longest one I could get (which unfortunately isn't as long as yours was yesterday...but it is a massive improvement!)
She was walking very nicely on the lead and for the first time EVER, we crossed paths with a German Shepherd and she barely blinked!!!  It was actually the other dog that was having the nervous breakdown, but I consciously kept some length on the lead and Lola was as cool as a cucumber.  I did notice that the other woman started wrapping the length of her lead around her hand as soon as she spotted us, so that was obviously where I was going wrong with her.  Thank-you!  It was so nice to be on the other end of the lead of the dog who was behaving for a change!!!
Take care and thanks again

Anna and Glenn,
Last couple of weeks since your visit have been interesting to say the least, and we feel that some good progress has been made.
Our 8 month old grandson stayed, less parents, for 5 days.  Interesting time.  He didn't get upset with Harry barking and was content to let Harry sniff him and get to know him.  The 2 of them got on well but Harry, like us, was well due a rest after 5 days when we reclaimed our home.

Overall a big improvement in Harry and he is walking so much better on the lead.
Many thanks for pointing us in the right direction.  All 3 of us are far less stressed out as a result.

Llewellyn Setter
Things are good for us on the doggy front these days.  I've started walking her with different friends and their dogs.  She gives the occasional air snap if they chase her, and she's afraid, but the body language is such that you can now anticipate it, and she doesn't end up with a mouthful of dog anymore.  Result!!!!!

Hope all is well with you all.
Best Wishes

"The Beginners Course was excellent! We started off with such an over excited 6 month old staff, and now she is fabulous to live with. She has come on so much thanks to Jenny (and Anna and Glen on the dog walks!) The small class sizes and lots of one to one attention really worked, so much so that we even managed to pass with Distinction! Thank you!"
VIA TEXT MESSAGE So pleased with her. Just had friends to stay for the weekend with 10 month old baby and she didn't put a foot wrong. Was even lying on floor with baby sitting next to her! A lot of it is down to your and Glenn's help - probably wouldn't have gotten this far without it and it would've been a different story!

COLLIE/SPRINGER/SETTER MIX:  (VIA TEXT MESSAGE) Thank you. I still need you though - my oracle and fount of all knowledge! You've helped and supported me so much and I really appreciate it.

White German Shepherd: (nervous dogs workshop) Thank you both for a great course. I think we all got a lot from it and doggy always benefits. Best wishes K & G
