BEST START DOG AND PUPPY TRAINING WEEKEND WORKSHOPS £65 Saturday 3rd and 4th of MARCH at 12.00pm - 15.00pm Covering everything you need to know about raising a happy, well-behaved and sociable member of the family, including basic training (sit, down, stay, drop, leave it, recall, loose lead walking). Our classes are small (usually 6 max.), fun and relaxed to ensure your dog wants to happily work for you and trusts you. Classes are taught by a qualified behaviourist (Kennel Club Accreditation Scheme Member) so you can be confidant that your instructor has a deep knowledge and understanding of how dogs learn and the future implications of certain training techniques. In addition we cover: meeting people and other dogs, toilet training, play fighting and biting, how to avoid problem behaviours developing, socialisation and what this actually means, health, grooming, nail clipping, nutrition, equipment, travelling with dogs, dog law, teaching our dogs how to share and much much more!! Short training sessions with frequent breaks and discussions so the dogs can rest, which is also an ideal opportunity to learn to settle down in the presence of other dogs (and picnics!!). This is an outdoor class ensuring that your dog is used to listening to you when out amongst distractions (with plenty of water and trees for shade should we need to get out of the sun). Please email or call Anna to book your place: anna.read@sky.com 07763 373 322
We try to limit this class to no more than 6 dogs (although we may book an extra one or two rescue dogs, urgent cases etc on occasion).

SOCIAL WALKS You may have heard about the benefits of "socialising" your dog or puppy? - we couldn't agree more and can provide social walks on most days during the week. We have found that puppies learn better social skills from well socialised adults (rather than just other puppies who are also still learning) so we provide mixed aged, controlled socialisation. Please call us to book on to this unique opportunity for just £10 per walk. NAUGHTY DOG WALK Saturday 3pm Blackheath, Guildford
We have started to offer walking groups specifically for difficult dogs and dogs that need extra attention (naughty dogs don't teach other naughty dogs anything they don't already know!!). This is a great opportunity for us to monitor you and your dog's progress, as well as, a chance for you to get back your confidence when walking your dog. Here we can also show you the best techniques to use when walking your dog in the exact place you need help! Nobody has to feel embarrassed as everyone is in the same boat and experiencing similar problems. We can only accept dogs that we have already seen for a consultation on these walks. Walks cost £10 and are currently run on Saturdays at 3pm at Blackheath (near Wonersh, Guildford). Please call or text Glenn on 07735 584 684 to book a place on one of these walks as spaces are limited. Two instructors attend these walks. (Although we make every effort to keep the website up to date times are subject to change so please call to double check).
Blackheath car park is located just past "The Villagers" pub in Blackheath Village. Blackheath Lane, Guildford GU4 (near Wonersh)
