AGGRESSIVE DOG

ZyWeb
If your dog is behaving badly, you are not alone!

There are two options available to you at The Dog House:

1. AGGRESSION CONSULTATION

Aggressive dogs must first be assessed (£50) to ascertain the issues and the best course of action for helping you and your dog. We may suggest a course to attend or one-to-one training, whichever would benefit your dog the most.

Then a further £250 as aggression cases often take longer to solve than other behaviour problems. Following this you are entitled to subsequent sessions at £10 each and you can attend for as long, or as often as you feel you need to (until you are confidant going it alone). This way you have more control over how much you want to spend..

2. AGGRESSION BOOT CAMP

Or why not let us do the hard work for you by sending your dog to our AGGRESSION BOOT CAMP?
Your dog stays in our home (no kennels!) where we can work more intensively with him/her.
Quite often it proves easier to work on aggression without an owner present. This can be because the owner has seen their dog at their worst and it can be very difficult to put this out of one's mind and relax.
The tension from owners very often has a detrimental effect on the dog's problems and it can be far easier and quicker to work with the dog for a few weeks before handing over to the owner... (we also deal with a lot of rescue dogs in this way, before they have an owner).

Minimum stay is 14 days, although some dogs may need longer (depending on several factors, for example, the age of the dog, how long he/she has had the issue, the severity of the issue and so on...). We will not know whether your dog needs longer until we have seen the progress they make during the initial stay with us. It is entirely up to you whether you take advantage of the discounts offered for a third week, or if you are happy with the progress which has been made in the first 14 days...

14 days £1,345

21 days £1,945

All bedding, bowls and food is included in the price. We feed James Wellbeloved dog food and fish (sardines/tuna/mackerel/salmon etc), but if your dog has a special diet you would need to provide this (and any medication your dog needs during his/her stay with us).

A typical hand-over session can last between 1-2 hours and you will learn about all the things your dog has learnt, as well as how to maintain this. We also send you training videos of your dog's progress (via e-mail) so you can see how your dog is doing during his/her stay.
Your dog will be participating in up to 12 classes per week and we can also provide a tailor-made instruction sheet for your dog to ensure the behaviour is maintained at home. If we think your dog would benefit from one of our workshops as part of his/her training, then we will offer you this at a discount or free of charge if your dog has attended 'Aggression Boot Camp'. You are also welcome to join us for social walks (£10 each) to keep up-dated and develop your confidance once your dog is back home.

Depending on your dog's issues, one or two home visits may be required following Boot Camp. These will be charged at £30 per hour + travelling expenses.

NAUGHTY DOG WALK
Saturday 4pm Blackheath, Guildford

For existing clients and dogs that we have already done work with, we offer walking groups specifically for difficult dogs and dogs that need extra attention
(naughty dogs don't teach other naughty dogs anything they don't already know!!).
This is a great opportunity for us to monitor you and your dog's progress, as well as, a chance for you to get back your confidence when walking your dog. Here we can also show you the best techniques to use when walking your dog in the exact place you need help!
Nobody has to feel embarrassed as everyone is in the same boat and experiencing similar problems.
We can only accept dogs that we have already seen for a consultation on these walks.

Walks cost £10 and are currently run on Saturdays at 4pm at Blackheath (near Wonersh, Guildford).
Please call or text Glenn on 07735 584 684 to book a place on one of these walks as spaces are limited.
Two instructors attend these walks.
(Although we make every effort to keep the website up to date, times are subject to change so please call to
double check).

Blackheath car park is located just past "The Villagers" pub in Blackheath Village.
